I am currently working in a Dr surgery, for a Cardiac Specialist. I am mostly on reception and perform most ECG's. The position is very busy and hands on. I enjoy helping the patients and putting a smile on their face. Its close to home so i am lucky, i find it exciting and also confusing at times as i have never had medical experience. I love what i do but am keen to move away and try something new.

I was working for a Financial company as a receptionist in North Sydney, i had a lot to do with looking after clients insurances and keeping the premiums etc. up to date. It was my first "professional" job and i learnt a lot about working the more grown up environment and had a lot of people relying on me to do their work. They were extremely long days as i had a fare way to travel on the train waking up at 5 am and getting home at 7 m , which didn't bother me but my reason for leaving was that i didn't like being stuck behind a computer in a small office with out interaction from the public.

When i left school, i got my second job working in the local newsagent. It had a lot to do with the elderly and dealing with large amounts of money. I was most of the time unsupervised handling the counter on my own. I believe there was a lot of trust in this position from my employer. My reason for leaving, i got the job in North Sydney and felt i had more potential there.

My first job! Working at KFC taught me a lot about working well in a team and dealing with customers, hygiene and safety. I worked late nights and some not so nice conditions, but i loved it! While i was still working at KFC, i got a second job, my reason for leaving was at that time i didn't have a license so it was hard on my parents getting to both jobs with the late nights and early mornings.
